On this page, you'll find a package list of available wedding services. But the list is only a suggestion. You can customize our wedding services to fit your needs. You may want other events related to your wedding recorded, such as, showers and parties. You may also like a special video made to be presented at the rehearsal dinner/party. We can make a video all about the couple, showing them through the years and how they met. The video makes a great wedding gift for the couple. We can record as much or as little as you would like. While we do most of our wedding work in the Lafayette area, we can work at any location but extra charges will apply. Weddings within a 25 mile radius of Lafayette will incur no extra charges. So if your wedding is in Lafayette, Breaux Bridge, Carencro, Youngsville, New Iberia, Crowley, Opelousas, the prices below would apply to your wedding. If you're outside of the local area, just contact us for a quote for your location.

About BéBé Video Productions

BéBé Video Productions is owned and operated by me, Chris Tanner. I was born and raised in Lafayette, Louisiana and have lived here for 53 years. My training is in electronics and in 1986 I bought my first computer. I had a love of making videos and found computers were the perfect tool for my creativity. I started creating videos for family members for events such as 50th wedding anniversaries and special birthday parties. I found I much preferred doing video work and soon started filming weddings for family members at their request. Gradually, people outside of my family, who had seen my work, started asking me to do their weddings and video projects. BéBé Video Productions was born and I moved full time into creating videos. BéBé Video Productions is the official videographer for Teurlings Catholic High School and does work for other schools as well on an as needed basis. Recently, BéBé Video Productions produced the 80th Anniversary Documentary for St. Genevieve Church in Lafayette. With the growth in business, I have my wife Marilyn and my four sons assisting me on cameras when needed but I still do all the editing work, graphic design and production of DVDs myself. IMPORTANT NOTE: Please read!

I have two different formats of sample video. The two samples are the same; one is a Windows Media File and the other is a QuickTime File.

The difference is that QuickTime files are much larger than a comparable Windows Media file. To point out the difference, my sample music

video in the Windows Media format, will take only about 10 seconds to load and is a full 480x720 size image at 30fps. By comparison,

the QuickTime version will take at least 5 full minutes to load on a fast cable connection but the image is only 240x360 at 15fps. The only

reason I supply a QuickTime sample, is for those who don't have Windows Media capability on their computers. If you can view

Windows Media files, please choose that sample. If you choose that version and it still doesn't play and you are using Internet Explorer,

look for a security warning at the top of your browser window for that page but below the toolbars and address bars. It will be a

light yellow or tan color and it will tell you that you have to click it to allow the page to be viewed. Just click the security warning

to view the page as a Windows Media file.

Our Packages

We have packages to fit every budget! From our lowest to highest priced packages, your wedding will be professionally recorded and produced on DVD disc.

Option 1: Get two camera coverage for an additional $100

Option 2: Get additional copies of your DVD for $25 each

Option 3: Additional time at reception for $100 per hour (this fee includes the time for additional editing required later in post)

Option 4: Get additional copies of your DVD for $15 each

General guidelines to picking one of our standard packages

No matter which package you choose, we will film your wedding with Sony PD170 and/or VX2100 camcorders. These are high end camcorders and you will not find them in local stores. They are among the best camcorders available and will deliver results that are not available from consumer camcorders.

We don't expect you to hire us or any videographer without knowing what you can expect in your DVD video. That's why you are welcome to view samples from us if you've never seen our work before.

We also know how important your memories are to you. That is why we protect your DVD in several ways. First we keep a backup copy of the same DVD that you receive along with all the custom artwork and graphics. We also store a "Gold Archival" quality DVD disc copy for additional safeguarding. Finally, we store the original tapes used to record your wedding. If anything ever happens to your copies of your wedding, it can be replaced for a small fee. Just bring us the damaged copies back.

And remember, our packages are typical of what people want. But you can create any custom package you want. The general summary of what each package offers is as follows:

• Basic Package: Our low priced offering to provide professional recording and production to DVD of your wedding. We record only the wedding and will use one camera. It's the perfect package for minimal cost.

• Bronze Package: This will get your wedding and reception (up to 2 hours) professionally recorded and produced to DVD at an affordable price. There will be very minimal editing of the footage to keep costs down.

• Silver Package: This step up adds two to three camera coverage of your wedding, if the venue allows. This is a much nicer video to watch of your ceremony and we will also record the reception for 3 hours instead of 2. Plus you'll get 3 copies of your video instead of 1.

• Gold Package: At this level we add a personal music video of highlights of the couple's wedding. This is a three to five minute music video, adding something extra special to your DVD that is always cherished by the couple. Next, you can purchase additional videos at a reduced price. But the most important added feature is our professional editing of the event. On all our packages below the Gold level, the only editing done is to trim the reception to fit on the DVD. But in the Gold Package, we carefully edit the video, trimming out the excess and showcasing the best shots and moments. We'll add background music when needed and make sure the videos flow smoothly. The careful editing is what will make your video extra fun to watch.  The ceremony is a different story. About the only editing done, is to choose the best camera for the shot. Doing this involves much more time in post production and hence the additional cost over lower packages. But you will have a much nicer keepsake, so most people find it worth the extra cost.

• Ultimate Package: In the Ultimate package, we add a musical credit video. This video is the last feature on the DVD and mimics the credits at the end of a movie. It features all the participants in the wedding. Each participant is featured in short video excerpts taken from our coverage. We put titles of each person's name and role in the wedding and add music. This is our most popular feature in our productions and viewers find it especially fun to watch. Some people will put on the DVD just to watch the credits. Also included in this package is coverage of the rehearsal and the rehearsal dinner. This night before the wedding is filled with its special moments that you'll want to see again and remember. It'll be a most welcome addition to your DVD. The rehearsal and dinner are carefully edited with our special touch. You'll also get five copies of your wedding video and you also pay reduced prices if you need extra copies of the video.

General Information

I will gladly loan you copies of my work for you to view, if you are not familiar with it.

If you call my cell and get a recording, it is not because your call is not important to me. It is usually because I am on location and I always turn off the phone as to not interfere with my current project. Just leave a message and I'll call back as soon as it is feasible.

To hold a wedding date, a non-refundable deposit and a signed contract is required at the time of booking.

The balance is due by the day before the wedding.

If you need to cancel, the deposit is non-refundable. However, if we are able to book another wedding on the same date and time that you reserved, after your cancellation, we will gladly refund your deposit for that condition.
